Default Gauges light dim and Ebrake light

At night my gauges dim. It doesn't seem ta have much to do with driving and the intervals of time that the gauges dim is inconsistent, but never more than about 5 seconds. Any ideas?

My ebrake light also comes on when I launch hard or try cornering a little. The brake is not engaging, just the light. Is there a switch in the center console that is loose?

If I'm not mistaken, there is no specific indicator for the emergency brake. Based on my understanding, two things with turn on the brake indicator....the emergency brake being set, and low brake fluid level in the master cylinder.....and the outside chance of a wiring problem.

Well the problem with the Brake light turned out to be the fluid, but I am still having trouble with the dimming.
