I think I'm a bit confused. A TRUE catback would come with everything behind the cats, wouldn't it? It doesn't seem like these catback systems that are being sold on the forum are coming with anything other than tips/mufflers and oa pipes. Shouldn't they come with an x pipe or even a better h pipe? Or do they? If not, then shouldn't they stop referring to them as "catbacks?" Fill me in bros...
Re: Are catback systems really "catbacks?" (Horsepower)
Horsepower,
We offer Magnaflow's C5 cat-back system and they can call it a cat-back system because their complete C5 system includes the x-pipe and mufflers.
Magnaflow's C5 system replaces everything after the cats and that is why they call their complete system a cat-back.
That is the only system on the market that is a cat-back on the C5.
All the other exhaust systems are sold separately from the x-pipes.
