Active Handling Issue
I have not found a specific pattern to when it engages: any RPM, smooth roads, rough roads, turning, going straight, speeding up or slowing down. It does seem to only happen as speeds in excess of 40MPH.
Reading the forums suggest the following:
Check for codes- No codes relating to steering, suspension, or body.
Bad alignment- The car was aligned about 6 months ago. The tires are wearing evenly and does not pull to one side.
Anyone have any suggestions to help diagnose this issue?

- Yaw Rate Accelerometer bad
- Lateral Rate Accelerometer bad
- Steering Wheel Position Sensor (SWPS)
- Wiring/connector issue with the above sensors.
- EBTCM bad (***NOTE! The EBTCM repair places can NOT repair this type of EBTCM failure.) Its a problem with the microprocessor in the EBTCM which can not be fixed.
Get a service manual and start checking the sensor outputs. My first guess is the SWPS is defective but,,,,I would investigate first. I hate throwing money/parts at a problem.
