Just like the title says. I need a way to remove the blinker hazzard button switch from the dash airvent area, as the manual says i need to take apart half the intereior including the dash to get it out. I am installing rear led tail lights and a sequencer and i have some one who can fix my stock one to slow the seq down and also remove the load circuit as to not think the tail lights are out when the leds come on.any help please?
I wish folks would quit quoting that old website, sooner or later cableone is gonna take it off line. Same info can now be found at: http://www.kd5fx.com/vette.html
It's been 3 years since I replaced my switch, so far, no problems. If it goes out again I'll go with the bypass gadget next time....

The fix is pretty simple compared to pulling the switch. I used the write up and it made the job easier. The fix involves either cutting or lifting one leg of the 8 pin IC chip in the flasher switch.
