Default O E Wheels

This is the company that has the Deep Dish Y2K rims.

I saw a lot of old threads about them.

Does anyone have a set of these rims ?

I would like to buy a set but wonder if there are any issues.

Like they are about an inch wider that the Y2K GM rims on my

vette now.

I have an almost new set of runfalats on the car, and don't want to replace them.

Thanks for the reply's in advance.

Buy them from us. We handle all issues that may arise. Typically we don't have any, but anything is possible when you ship rims. Plus we support the forum.

I would rather deal with someone from the forum.

My only question is will the run flats I have now fit O.K.

I believe those rims are a little wider.

Thanks again.

For the deep dishes I would strongly suggest the Z size tires.

If you have a little thread left you will be fine for a bit, but you don't want to participate in any racing etc.

I have a set of the C6 Z Motorsports in chrome. They fit great, but the Y2k Deep dish might not accept your tire pressure sensors without modification.

They fit TPMS without modifications.

They have a lot of thread left.

I don't race, just drive around in parades and put her in some car shows.

I do appericate the information and will be ordering a set very soon.

I will also going to get new sensors.

Did I see you folks handle the rebuilt ones ?

Do you have a core for the old ones ( wishing here )

We actually don't right now. Maybe you can find a set and have us rebuild them.

If you have the newer version the prices on those are cheap enough new.

My vette is a 99.

Will anything else work with them ?

Guess I could put the car up on jack stands and send you my old ones.

What is the turn around time ?

Thanks aging for all your help.

They won't just plug n play. You would have to change a few things out (can't remember what).

Typically 1-2 days after we receive them

No problem! I've noticed about 10 typos I did today and I'm only 24 so no excuse for me.

Did they redesign the Y2K deep dish wheels or something? I remember some folks having to use band clamps, epoxy, etc to get the older sensors to fit those wheels.

Nope. Not sure what problems they were having, but each set I've sold works with all versions of TPMS. Maybe the installers weren't familiar with the system.

I'm aware of what you're talking about. We don't have that problem though. All sensors work!

Like I said I don't know what happened with the set he had, but we don't have that problem and never have. I've sold tons of these wheels after that post.
