Removed F45 shocks Max Speed 159

Removed F45 shocks Max Speed 159
Swapped out my F45s for some C6Zs. I was expecting to get a max speed 80 MPH until I get the RPO code deleted from the BCM. Instead I get a max speed 159 message on the DIC instead. Why?
Also, how many miles until these shocks settle down? The car is sitting pretty high right now. Was going to lower it at the same time but those front bolts look like they will break before they turn.

Yea I know. Its embarrassing when people see the message and laugh at how slow my car is. I'm not worried since I'll have the RPO code deleted when i find somebody with a Tech II that can do it. I was just wondering why my MPH was different than what it should have been. I just like to ask why to everything.

Resister mod? As an alternative to deleting the F45 RPO code from the BCM? I may have to look into that. Called at least 5 dealers by me and nobody can do it. In fact several service managers "know" it can not be done.

Can this value be changed in the tables or just deleted? Any custom tuning done and your buddy is playing tricks

I used a how to prolly like the one Ike posted, didn't ck the link
Bruce mentioned he had some of the Acura techs mess w/ your OBDII system, said they installed the SH rpo from a TL
