What do I need to do this conversion into a 97? Is there a big change in the gear ratios? :confused:

If you mean putting an M12 in place of a MN6 you should be fine. Just follow the procedures for a tranny swap.

THe difference in gearing would be equivalent to putting a 3.73 or 3.90 rear gear on an MN6. I cant remember which one tho.

Thanks can the internals be put in MN6. What's the reason for the SVO#30's what kind of mods are you doing? We have 350 rwhp and plan on going to 400 rwhp, then putting on a 80 shot of NOS. Think the stock injectors can take this?

Im not sure about actually changing the M12 gears into a MN6.

Regarding the SVO injectors, I did that in conjunction with a MAF Translator to manipulate timing advance. (more can be read about that at my web site).

You should be fine with the increased power and 80 shot and stock injectors. You can also go to a wet shot too.
