Default 98 thats been sitting

Just started to look at a 1998 that my dad gave me which has sat in NV for 2 yrs. There are multiple problems like wipers moving very slow..pass window not working…key remote not working…dry rotted tires etc.(that’s besides all the dirt and dust throughout) My question is besides the obvious such as tires, fluids, etc. Is there anything anyone suggests I do to the car before I really start to run it? I just completed a body off resto on my 64 and its time for this one. I did purchase and install the clb from thunder racing as that’s the reason the car sat for 2 yrs(had to reverse everything the dealer did). Hope you guys don’t mind such a general question from a newbie c5 owner but this is a whole different animal than my midyear….I look forward to any responses….Thanks

Make sure to change the spark plugs and wires, drain the fuel tank and replace, charge or replace the battery then give the car a crank, good luck.

One other thing I'd do, Once the spark plugs are out, I'd give each cylinder a shot of 5w/30 and crank it over a few times before putting the plugs back in, Then fired it up and make sure the coolant is flowing, ( Which if it's a 98 really needs to be flushed and refilled with fresh Dexcool. Good luck Buddy !
