I recently upgraded my harmonic balancer with an SLP 25% one. Since then, I have been having some voltage related issues. Its been brought to my attention that I need to upgrade the alternator pully to compensate, but I am unsure as to which one I need.
Do I get a larger pully, or a smaller one? Which one would allow more spinning?
I don't have the SLP but do have a Powerbond 25% UD that in installed in May. I purchased the recommended shorter belt from Texas Speed when I purchased the pulley and have not noticed any voltage drops.

The whole reason for going to undersize pulley is to reduce the parasitic drag of the accessories to add power to the rear wheels. You should not be having voltage issues as a result of the undersize pulley. You have something else going on. Bad battery that is requiring more current then it should, something else drawing more current or a bad alternator.

Helps if you are specific as to what problems you are having.
