Eradispeed rotors installed! (pictures)

Here's my old warped left front rotor at 30,000 miles. It doesn't *look* like junk does it?

My finger is pointing to one of the caliper bracket bolts. This is by far the hardest part of the job. These things are put on with loctite at 125 ft lbs of torque. You gotta have a 21 MM 6 point socket and a breaker bar to even think about taking these things out! There are 2 on every rotor.

Old rotor removed from the left front.

Here's a new Eradispeed on the hub.

The OEM brake pads were in excellent shape for 30,000 miles, but I went ahead and put new pads in with the new rotors. I used OEM pads.

Left front all done!

Here's a pic comparing the old and new rear rotors.

Now would be a good time to adjust the parking brake shoes but mine seemed ok so I left them alone.

Left rear Eradispeed installed and ready for the caliper.

Here's the left rear all done!

I'm extremely pleased with this setup. The car now drives like it should. No more shuddering to a stop and pulsating brake pedal. I hope the Baer Eradispeeds last longer than the OEM rotors! As far as braking power with the new setup, I really can't say since I'm being "easy" on the new brakes for a while. They do feel GOOD so far!

I bought the rotors from Nate at Xtreme MotorSports. From what I've seen I saved about $100 plus shipping by purchasing from Xtreme. I bought them right after Christmas when Xtreme oftered a special group price to forum members.
I bought a new set of OEM brake pads all way around from Bob Wendorff at Fichtner Chevrolet at about wholesale plus shipping. MUCH cheaper than my local Chev dealer.
Yeah, I think I did ok on price. Plus these people are Forum venders and were VERY VERY nice to trade with.
