Just completed installation of 3:90 from 3:42's. Should I expect to see any changes in the HP or Torque curves when it is redynoed? I have read some comments related to this and they equate an approximate 10 hp peak reduction to this change, but I would imagine an increase in torque. Any comments, as always, are welcome. TIA
Hampton,
Can't really say, I won't be able to get out on the highway for a couple of months being from Buffalo. But I'm hoping the difference in rpm (13%) will put me higher into the torque range which would be benificial to make up for some of the drivability loss at lower rpm because of the Aluminum flywheel, cam and head work. It will definately give me a bunch more push coming out of a turn. Once I see the final dyno results I'll have a better idea.
