Ok guys Im looking at stroker kits 347 or 402 I thought about a 427 but from what Im hearing is that one is really not worth the cost what I need to know is what blocks you guys are using and yes this engine will be blown thanks
A 347 wouldn't be a stroker, you would just use a stock LS1 block for that setup. A 402 would generally be an LS2 block, unless you want cheaper and iron, in which case it would be the iron truck 6.0 block. A 427 would be either an LS3 or LS7 block. I don't like the LS3 427 for boost, and the LS7 isn't an option if you do want to be cost effective.

LS2 402 making 541 rwhp 505 rwtq. 200 mph isn't a question, the only question is do you have the ***** to push it ? Been there done that more then a few times. What a rush. If you want a top notch 402 talk to Ron at Vengeance Racing. He'll set you up. They get there motors built by ProLine. Top notch shorts. I wish I would've went with a proline short. Got mine build elsewhere and needless to say it wasn't done the way I wanted it. Not saying it was built well, just that the compression wasn't what I was looking for. Felt like we left some power on the table due to the builders piston choice. Like I said, go with Ron at Vengeance Racing if you want it done right. On a side note, Vengeance redid the top end to get my numbers, before vengeance my numbers were 494/484

LQ9 370 here I am going to be making 20psi and 200 shot nitrous with PTK turbo kit. Iron is the only way to go if you want safe and cost efficient JMHO
