I am looking for a head, cam (lifters and roller rockers) package. Anyone have any experience (good or bad) and what brand? I have a stock LS1 345hp. No engine work other than Vararam cold air intake. Thanks in advance......

Talk to a tuner, tell them what you want and they can recommend something to you.
You may want to finish the bolt ons before a H/C(headers and intake manifold). For the heads and cam, depends on what your budget is and wha your goals are.

I would recommend Headers first. As far as the Heads/Cam package, there's many different options and prices to choose from. Feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to help you.
As others have said, I'd go with headers, high flow cats and a cat back exhaust. I'd also do a LS6 ported intake, a ported and polished throttle body and some upgraded injectors like a set of SVO 30's. At that point you'd be ready to get maximum benefit from a H/C job.
I agree with MarkC5. Do the bolt on's and learn what mod does what. Really easy to spend money, harder to know what does what, but good idea to know what you are doing.

if you look at that engine pic you can clearly see a electric water pump i herd those are good for at least 20 rwhp theirs no mention of it on the spec sheet wonder what else is on the car thats helping it out

The article has limited space for the story, so they are not going to cover the whole build. Tony Mamo has given a full breakdown of the build up for this engine on here. I'll cut and paste it when I have some time.
But yeah, it was more than just switching out the heads and intake manifold.
Highlighting the larger portion of your expenditures would be as follows:
AFR 205 Heads milled for higher compression $2400
Custom cam $425
Lifters $250
.040 thick head gaskets $155
Long tube headers/exhaust $1200 - $1700 depending on choice
UD Pulley $250
Install and tune $1500 ish (that can vary alot)
Optional
Ported 92mm FAST and ported TB (add 20-25 RWHP) $1900
Electric water pump $500 (adds 5 RWHP)
Yella Terra rocker arms (adds 5 RWHP and triples valve guide life) $475
Additional hand work on the 205 heads $850 (add 12-15 RWHP)
Regarding a similar package for an LS2, I would simply step up the cam about four degrees to cover the extra displacement. If you had to pass smog that would limit us to a 224/224 single pattern or a 224/228 on a slightly wider LSA.
If any of you guys are really serious about this we can better discuss it over the phone but this should give you an idea (or at least a rough idea) of most of the costs affiliated with the swap. Like I said, its not cheap but it transforms your engine/car into a completely different animal.
Here is an in car vid of my "Dr. Jekyll/Mr Hyde" 346 package in my C5.....most people I took for a ride couldn't believe it had the stock 346 GM shortblock. Note this was a slightly larger cam than I would run or recommend in a car that must pass emissions and has no way to circumvent the system if you will and of course I had all the little extra go fast goodies to completely optimize my package, but it will give you an idea of how much different your car could behave if you spent the money. Note how smooth the idle is just before I stage and bring the rev's up. This was a low eleven run @ 124 MPH with a positive 1600 D/A....not the greatest air for making power and getting an optimal timeslip but certainly not the worst either....LOL (I feel for you guys that have to run at really significant elevation!). Note this car still clocked 30 MPG cruising in 6th gear (with a 3.90 rear) on a pure highway run.
Don't cheap out on valve springs. The Comp 921s are the best and I've also head of some people getting good life from the Patriot Gold Dual springs. I went through 4 sets of valve springs in 25k miles on my old H/C car and it was quite a headache. My current car (ECS AFR 205 H/C) has over 10k miles on Comp 921s with no issues.

ETP or AFR heads and one of his custom cams..and you WILL wreck shop.
there is a reason why the man is so damn busy all the time. he still spent time with me on the phone, still answered my emails, and totally hooked me up on a few things.. and back in the old days when he only did business by money order, he'd even send my parts out the day i ordered them before i ever even put the money in the mail.
