Default C5 Break Pad Replacement.

I have a stock coupe with upgraded Z06 Calipers and Baer cross drilled rotors and its coming time for a pad change. Could anyone recommend a pad brand / part number & where to get it that will work well on a C5 with cross drilled rotors (good street performance, good rain performance, long life, low dust etc…)?

Are you unhappy with your present pads?

Btw, except for the color, the Z06 calipers are the same calipers the non-Z06 cars use.

I would recommend the Hawk Ceramics or HPS. Depending on what you want more of, lower dust or more performance.

Thanks for the caliper info.

The pads are getting thin and putting out a lot of dust. Looks like Hawk pads are the way to go, I take it the Ceramics are lower dust and the HPS is high performance?

Do the usual walk in stores like pep boys or autozone carry these pads, ill be doing alot of work to the car this weekend?
