Which header system (with cats) is considered "the best". What are the typical gains? Dyno results would be great! Thanks!

Use the search feature...

This topic is usually hotly debated and turns into a cluster of sorts (at some point or another) in most threads. The real bottom line is all the info you could want to read about is already here for the taking....and prepare to spend a bunch of time if your really serious about your hunting.

Also, whats "best" for you may not be best for another individuals combination....something else that tends to muddy up the waters a bit. Like camshafts, cylinder heads, and most other engine mods, the "best" choice is ultimately determined by the combination as a whole and the intended application.

Hope this helps in a more general sought of way....

387.9 RWHP. 365 Torque. Mustang Dyno. LG Motorsprsts. 1 3/4" Long tube pro's. 3"" x pipe, no cats, Ti exhaust. 03 Z06. Stock motor.( I bought car new) 11.97 1/4 mi.

Well, I just had Dynatech longtubes mated to my Corsa Pace Car exhaust yesterday..results were way more than I expected....see my thread in the Great Lakes section if you want all the details.

you cant go wrong with Kooks, LGs, American racing headers

Get the best price on any of them, and you'll be fine.

the power is about the same plus or minus a couple hp on any given dyno and day
