Default ARH & Catback Fitment Question

My 1-7/8" 3" X 3" ARHs just came in and I noticed there's no two-bolt flange for the catback makeup. I assume these are designed to cut the flange off the catback and use the supplied clamps for a pipe-in-pipe fitting?

Could be, I'd ask them. Since the X is 3" they may have wanted to leave the option of running a 3" Muffler system also...
