I've run several sets of GMPP wires without any problems and now I'm running a set of MSD because they were supposed to have less resistance. The MSDs have been just fine so far. I really can't see much difference between the two.
as long as the wires are good , you won't
wires don't make HP
bad wires will cost you HP

I switched to the MSDs to see if they would last longer than the gmpp wires. On my track car with long tubes the stockers would fall off/get loose after about a season's use. So far the MSDs have lasted a season, it will be next year that will tell the tale.
Are you liking this discussion? I hope it's helping you out..... Next time just save everyone the drama, your just as bad as a women
How nice of you to say. If your ever in the Chicago area, make sure you look me up, so we can discuss how I'm like a woman. I'm quite certain your opinion would change.

Why did you even bother posting to MY THREAD if you couldn't offer a constructive, non sarcastic post???? I'm sick of it! You have a very bad habit posting negative feedback with a lot of members here, are you that insecure? If you don't like the thread or that you feel that it's repetitive then please do me a favor and don't bother wasting my time with your childish comments. I feel like I'm in high school again

I have ran 3 different brands this year: MSD, B&W, and Delcos. I'm also running a not so stock car with long tube headers. The Delcos burnt up 2 wires in a matter of 1 week Not touching the header; the B&W managed to last a few months before I discovered a bad one a few days ago touching the header, and the MSDs were great until one of the wires physically broke at the connection point while changing plugs. It all depends on your application as the other C5 in the family runs just find on stock hardware. I'm going back to MSD's although this time with some boot covers for some cheap heat protection.
I cannot believe people are bashing the MSD wires!! I absolutely love them!! The delco's broke right in half while removing them and they are only 7mm while the MSD's are 8.5 mm! Also the MSD's are double crimped on the ends so the connectors will not break off. 100% recommend them.. Also the price is GREAT on them !
I installed a set of MSD Custom fit wires. That means I had to cut each one and terminate it. This is because I moved my coils inside my fenders. Anyway, I have had ZERO problem with the MSD wires. I love them!
I bought some MSD's, havent put them in yet though...now I'm worried.......prob shouldve gone with GMPP
I dont think there is anything to worry about. I'm sure they will be fine. The love for GMPP comes from the price, good looks, and better build than the OE wires.
Other wires are fine as well, for christs sake, they are only a few inches long, I doubt even crappy wires will give any issues.
