brake system flush

can anyone tell me if you have to use a pump the flush your brake system on a 99 coupe or can you simply just drain and refill and bleed the system. thanks scott

Get the speed bleeders. It makes bleeding a one-man job and so easy.

You do not have to purchase anything other than brake fluid. The braking system on these cars can ble flushed and bled like any other. Follow the recommended sequence for bleeding in the service manual, there are some differences in the lay-out of the hydraulic lines between the different model years.
You could probably drain it and re-fill it, but it is much faster to use the pedal to remove the old fluid.
