Default Need help bad

I posted earlier that I had no right rear turn signal or flasher. All others work. I've checked and rechecked the connections for the euro conversion I did 5 years ago and everything looks good. It is not getting any power to ths sockets. I checked the ground plug back tere and it looks good. A couple of people said change the flasher modual and I did today and still no help. Anyone got any ideas.
Thanks Laurence

Did some more trouble shooting and if I jumper a wire from the drivers side to the passengers the flashers work but not the turn signals.

Sounds like you got some bad info there bro. The flasher is a single output for both left and right rear turn signals. If only the right side was not working, the the flasher is not the issue. Most likely is the multifunction switch.

Lucky is right, ALLWAYS do the troubleshooting BEFORE replacing the expensive parts.

Thanks for the info Byronhunter. I changed this switch once before. It is hard to believe it is bad again.

brit2001, it might not be bad, the reason for some troubleshooting is to find the problem so you don't keep throwing parts at it untill you know which part is bad. Do you have a multimeter, and know how to read the schematic posted above? If so, sometimes you can save lots of $$$$$$ by investing an hour or two of your time. There is some good help on this forum ready to help. But you should always confirm a part is bad before going to the dealer for parts with the hundred dollar bills in your hand. Let us know if you can do the troubleshooting and when you get to a point you need help just ASK, ok?

I have a multimeter and I can use it. I can follow most schmatics but its not my strong suit. I just need to figure out what wire supplies the right rear turn signal/flasher with power. I might start dinking with it tonight. I'll let you know. I don't like throwing money away either andd my time is cheap. Thanks for the help so far. I'm sure I'll be asking for more.

It was the mulit function switch causing the problem. I disconnected it and pluged in the one I have that the headlights do work and the flashers and turn signal worked. Thanks for all the help.
