C5 Transmission Slip
I recently bought a wrecked C5, swiped down the passenger side. Replaced the fender, door, quarter, and windshield - the car looks great now, but I'm having some transmission issues. The battery was disconnected for a couple months during repairs and ultimately died, so the battery was replaced. I've been driving it and the transmission slip seems to be getting worse, the car doesn't want to downshift in acceleration. Wondering if this is a computer-related problem or is something mechanical. The car is a 2001 with 42000 miles on it and will be for sale as soon as this glitch gets worked out. Let me know if anyone has run into this before and what the best fix is.
