OK, I’ve owned my 2003 AE Red Coupe about a year now and want to put some goop on the back of the brake pads to reduce the annoying squeak when first applying brakes. The stuff worked great on another car. I have zero brake dust, car has been well dealer-maintained.
Newbie needs to know: (don’t laugh!)
• Where to place jack, jack stands?
• Pointers to anything related
Do your self a big favor. Buy a new/used 3 volumn set of C/5 repair manuals. They will pay for themslves by the very first job that you do, to include jacking your car off the ground properly and safely. Good luck.

Below are some very good descriptive threads on C5 &C6 (basically the same) jacking adaptors & methods.
I personally would never trust jacking on a wood 2X6 that spans the suspension points with no support in the middle – too easy to split apart. (As in the last link below)
