How much horsepower and torque can a C5 with the 4L60E transmission handle without problems?

It's pretty much the luck of the draw. Some trannys last a awhile even after doing heads and cam. while others don't last at all. My stock tranny gave up the ghost shortly after I did H/C. My car only had 17K miles at the time. To make a long story short if you plan on doing heavy internal engine mods. plan on gettiing your tranny rebuilt with heavy duty parts.

Ok, I don´t have any plans yet, but it´s good to know.

Maybe I change to a Vararam intake but that will not increase the horsepowers so much
