Replacing clutch on 99
My 99 vert has had a problem with the clutch sticking a few times when it is released. I read other post about this and I did replace the fluid in the clutch reservoir in the engine compartment about 10 times over a 2 week period and the fluid,Dot 3, now is as clear as water, but the problem persist. I was told it might be air in the lines, and if not that it might just need a new clutch, even though it doesn,t slip. What would be a reasonable price to bleed the system for air, and if thats not the problem, a reasonable price to replace the clutch , master, and slave? Would I be better going to a dealer or local mechanic?
