Actually yes they do and dont kid yourself that it is not visually different looking height sidewalls front/rear. If one can not see the visual difference in sidewall height even though it is small then you arent caring enough to notice it.

In person its MUCH more visually different between them vs pictures of them. I had many comments on mine first week as people would ask how come the front tires are taller looking than the rears. I knew the minute they were put on car I didnt like it and they came off the next week.

For cars that are still in 4X4 mode its less noticeable.

Yep. The 7 mm difference drives me crazy.

Tire size.............275/40-17...........295/35-18
Section width......275 mm (10.8'')....295 mm (11.6'')
Sidewall..............110 mm (4.3'')......103 mm (4.1'')

well do you guys think the 255/40's are a bad idea...that would make the sidewall on the fronts .1 smaller than the back I think

those goodyear gsd3 are a great deal in the 255/40/17 size and I've heard really good things...will there be noticably less grip on the front vs back?

that pic doesnt look bad at all.

the difference in real life is very noticable.

ive seen photos of the GSD3's on the front and the sidewall seems almost twice as tall in reference to the rear tires, and it just looks terrible unfortunately. that could very well vary between brands. but having a much taller sidewall on the front than rear just looks backwards.
