I've heard some mixed emotions about the Diablo Predator. I just bought a STS turbo kit and need some sort of tune on it. I was thinking about just buying the Programmer but i've heard a lot of people are not very happy with the Diablo.
If your going to install that turbo,,,,,,,,,that hand held programmer is NOT going to be able to help you!!!!! PERIOD!!! Purchasing it will just waste the cash your going to need to get a real tune.
Your going to need the hands (fingers) of an expert tuner who's familiar with tuning a boosted engine. That or any other hand held is a waste of cash in my opinion. Without a wide band and data logging, it difficult to tell what is actually needed to make a modded engine run properly.
Figure out which tuner that your going to use and see if he can do PCM tuning.. If the answer is YES,, remove the PCM from the car, mail him your PCM and have him install a tune that will get you to the shop and then you wont have any issues. Once you get your car back to the shop, he can complete the tune.

Another reccommendation I've heard from tuners is to leave the stock injectors in and drive to the shop. Just stay out of boost and you'll be ok.
Bill is completely correct though, Predator is a complete waste of money for anything other than casual tuning.
I don't know if they do or not. I don't want anything crazy, i'm not trying to get every single HP i can out of the car with it. I just want something streetable (if that's a word). Something that will make the car run like normal.
