Default ACA HIDs

Ok so i've been searching around a ton for info about HID conversion for my 2002 C5 Z06 and the aca system seems to be the best since I refuse to even bother with putting hids in my car without projectors. I've seen tons of threads recommending the aca system, the problem is all the threads are years old and have dead links in them. I want to purchase the aca kit, but i just cant seem to figure out how to (I think i might've read a thread saying that there are now legal issues surrounding the aca kit so it is difficult to impossible to get now??). Who would've thought that after I finally got myself all worked up to drop all that cash on HIDs I cant even find what I'm looking for. Can anyone tell me where I can get what I'm looking for or confirm that there are indeed legal issues and that I should forget about it?

Thanks!

ACA HID kit for the C5 were sold a couple of years ago. That when I bought mine. There was a problem with the high beams being out of adjustment and no way to adjust them without messing up the low beams. I don't ever use my high beams so I think they are the greatest thing to ever happen to my car. I think I bought mine from Corvette Garage for about $750.
I believe there is still litigation going on with them so they aren't for sale right now.
A while back forum vendor Johnathan (JW motoring) came across some of the ACA's and was selling them. I don't know if he sold them all or not you might want to contact him. RadioFlyer is also another forum vendor that sell HID projector kits for the C5. He has some he sells, calls them "light cannons"

Johnathan is also working on a kit the doesn't stick up as far as the stock lights, but they are still in the development stages.

i was actually just reading the rest of that thread, and it seems like you can get more, so out of curiousity, if the last one were to get snatched up, when would you expect to be getting more?

Not soon. I doubt I'll bother with ordering more up. I'm going to focus more on our kit after these sell.
