Default Supercharged lunati 382

Talked to Mike at Cerra Racing about the install... It'll be awhile before I get started but I'm very excited. Lunati 382, LS6 intake, LG G5 cam (heads later) Crank keyed, ATI Procharger, Belanger Headers, X-Pipe to replace cats (no emissions here :) ) SLP Loudmouth and dyno tune. Any guesses on rwhp and rwtq? I'm hoping for 570 rwhp and 540 rwtq but I'm no expert so just guessing.   After the heads I'm hoping for 620+ rwhp

What made you choose a stroker motor over an all-bore motor for forced induction?

That is what I'm trying to decide on myself. I'm definately doing at least the all-bore, but while I'm in there, the additional cost to go ahead and throw in a stroker crank and rods, is not that much more.

The downside is that stroking and doing forced induction kinda work against each other. Something to do with the rings I believe.

I decided on the stroker originally only for the added strength of the forged steel parts so I figured while we were in there might as well grab some extra power with a larger stroke. As far as the rings issue I didn't figure it to be much of a problem... I have read of guys supercharging the MTI 422's and LPE has a twin turbo 427 now. If there will be a problem I'm sure Mike would figure it out, he really seems to know his stuff. Also, just as an example, Mallet's 435S uses a 3.92" stroke and a 3.92" bore and that seems to work pretty well for them :D

how much boost is the supercharger, and what will be the compression, and is there a dyno test out there of this cam and stroker combo?

the supercharger runs at 7lbs of boost, and IF I change the compression from stock setting I'll go down to about 9.5:1. As for the stroker and cam question, I haven't seen any dyno's yet.

lets think.....ok that hurt....but for real...think about it this way If you lower the compression you can raise the boost, If you dont the boost should stay around 7psi. If its good intercooled boost then it should produce
(7+14.7)/(14.7)= 1.47 1.47X what it would in NA trim. If you dont change the compression or the boost: I have heard of 382 making anywhere from 450-500hp at the crank so lets figure 475. 475 X 1.47 = 699hp @ the crank. So if its manual figure 595rwhp If its auto figure 560rwhp (based on 15 and 20% drivetrain loss). This is under ideal conditions of course and could very with cam, intake, exaust...etc modifications.

If you do drop the compression to say 9:1 then you could run 12psi of boost. However I dont know how much the drop in compression would affect the NA output and other then by using say fule input and engine flow Im not sure how to calculate the HP with both droped compression and higher boost. It proibably would be higher then the above numbers.
