Tire size
On stock thin spoke rims can I run this size without issues with AH and ABS?
GY GS-D3 255/40/17 and 295/35/18
Dia. is for stock tires are 25.7 and 26.8
Dia. for this larger set is25.0 and 25.9
I heard the the 295 is fine on the 9.5 rim,but the spec. sheet needs a 10"rim
I hate being a tight, but I can save 150.00 going to the wider set

good question, don't know the answer but try this web site tirecaluator.com you can compare the two size's & the site will tell you if there will be any difference in speedo reading. I don't think it would hurt to go w/the bigger tires as far as ABS and handling (the tire are really not that much bigger). However I can't see the bigger size being cheaper? Go to tire rack .com and buy your tires there. G/L

Getting std. size, the other tires are a little old(06 date code)
Going to have my wheels, GY emt tires apx 12k miles and 2000 model sensors for sale next week
