Here is a problem I have with a 98 convertible with automatic transmission. The car redlines real quick when you punch it down. When it redlines the rev limiter kicks in and then it shuts the fuel down and the car bucks until the rpms drop and the fuel comes back.
What could be causing the problem. I have never seen another C5 do this.

Well doing a search on here I have found that the problem might be that the WOT shift points and the MPH shift points need to be reprogrammed. Could this be the problem?
