Default Dead 02 sensors?

Okay so i have an issue, well alot with my car lately. Car is at the shop getting tuned and we found out the brand new 02 where not reading properly. Easy fix right, throw some new ones in and rock out, WRONG. the new ones still arent reading correctly. They are staying in the 440 to 460 range and while idleing the cars fuel trims just keep going up up up.

The car drives fine the shop says, going to pick up the car in a little while or tomorrow depending on all the situations. Anyways i was wondering if anyone has any idea what can cause the computer to not activate the front 02s.

Also, i have the dreaded service active handling, service abs, service vehicle lights. Thats either got to be a ground issue or a bad ebcm. Is there anyway this issue could be related to non functional 02 situation? My reasoning behind that logic is, think about how closely related our cars are elettrical wise when it comes to grounds. Any time a ground issue arrises you know our cars go haywire, could a bad ground/bad ebcm be the culprit for this situation.

o2's take a min or 2 to warm up so they will show low 400-500's and not moving up and down until then.

In the video it shows you are in open loop at top of screen and this is why STFT'S are still 0 and not moving as well as the LTFT's.

The LTFT numbers that are showing in video are what was stored last time running before it was shut down and not what its doing during this video.

The STFT's AND LTFT's should start moving once its warmed up and in closed loop (usually set at 92 coolant degrees).

What do STFT's and LTFT's show once its in closed loop and fully warmed up over 180 degrees?

Are your heater circuits working correctly?? Easy to tell. Just turn the innition ON but dont start the engine. After 5-10 mins, carefully (it may be HOT!!!) feel the O2 sensor base and see if its HOT! If it is, the heaters are working.

YES!! There are FOUR wires in the sensor connector.. TWO sensor output wires and two heater wires. The heater coil heats up the sensor creamic which allows it to function properly. If you feel the sensoe, it should get HOT after a while.

There is a FUSE for the heater circuit. Check those fuses.

Fuse OXY SEN Fuse#15 (eng compart fuse ctr)

Default O2 Heater Fuses

Is there only one fuse, #15, in engine compartment? Are there any inline fuses that could cause an O2 heater to go out? I will also try try the under the car method to see if the heaters are working. Thanks

Sorry ive been away from this thread but with school and work i havent had time but on turkey day i gots some extra time to fool around with it. Ill check the under hood and see whats going on with the fuse. I would think since the car was at vengeance racing when the issue was discovered they would have checked the fused before just spending three days tracing wires and what not but ill double check.

Also, one of the sesnors, driver side, connecter to main harness is burnt pretty good. You can see the connections its burnt to that level. Would that keep both sensors from working? just a courious ? from looking over the car.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Man,,,,,,,,,,,if the connector is fried,,,thats most likley the issue. Check the OXY SEN fuse. It may also be blown. You need a new connector to eliminate that as an issue.
