If you had filled out your profile, or at least mentioned the year of your car you would have learned where to find the build code. If you already know, that's fine. It will help to get better answers to either fill out the profile or give more info in your question.

The RPO build codes are listed on a sticker that's usually located on the inside of the glove box door.

Except on 97-99 models, which are on the rear driver's side storage cover. And that brings us back to mentioning the year of the car in the question or the profile.

I'm not sure why, unless it was a change during the year. My 98 and a friend's 99 FRC were in the storage compartment.

Did '99 FRCs come with compartment covers? My '00 didn't.

On later C5's, GM probably decided on placing the RPO sticker in a place that was less likely to be removed or lost.

I don't have a '99. Yes, my '00 is in the glove box. And the compartment covers were not offered for the '00 FRC. That's why I was wondering if the covers came with the '99 FRC. The parts catalog doesn't list covers for the '99-'00 FRC, but do list them for the vert and cpe.

They had a side cover on the driver's side that came off if I'm remembering correctly. It's been about 3 years, so it could have been anywhere.
