Default Pushrod length

Since I bought the LG G5X3 cam, what length of pushrod would this use on my 97. I know there must be some standard size they use since they sell a cam package, but didn't know if someone had the info.

I always measure rather then rely on recommendations. Tool is less than $20. A lot of guys have bought two sets as a result of not measuring.

With stock heads that haven't been milled, I would say a 7.400' would be fine. However, like mentioned above, a Comp pushrod length checker would be a good purchase to ensure you have the correct length in the car. Let us know if we can help.

I found the "Comp Cams Hi-Tech Checking Pushrod 6.800"-7.800" PART #7702-1". Like everyone said for under $20 you can't go wrong. I'll give this a try.
