Good morning from N. Cali. Its been a long time guys...my Z06 has been running like a champ and i still love it 3yrs later. But, recently i was making the long drive down to LA for Thanksgiving and...my oil pressure gauge pegged itself at 80+psi. I knew right away it was prob the sending unit/switch. So i changed it with the help of a great DIY post. i fixed the problem, BUT...now i throw a 0332 and a 0327 code(KNOCK SENSORS). The car runs fine at low RPM, but of course with the timing change etc-runs like crap up top. From reading similiar posts-all i can guess is that i pulled the harness(from the 2 sensor to the car harness) a bit too tight while trying to take the manifold off.
-just to note: i did spray brakleen around the engine and some in the heads(car was not started til installation next day).
so, should i buy that harness from chevy for $45(gonna do that either way)
or, do u think i may have a carbon build up issue. 2001's do burn more oil so idk if thats gonna be the issue.

Thanks in advance guys
Since you are getting both codes, at least ensure you plugged in the knock sensor harness at the rear of the right head. If it's plugged in, the intake has to come off, as you probably pinched the harness.
yes...its for sure connected(i never took it off). i also inspected the wiring but saw no pinches etc. so i guess i pulled them too tight at some point. i also have to deal with the po300 misfire code. gonna be doing some work on that car this week. knock sensor wiring+plugs+wires+possible coils and o2 sensor.
well...the codes just cleared themselves i guess. i was googling these codes and i saw that sometimes they go away on their own eventually. one less prob to deal with. car runs great again. *but for those of you taking off your intake manifold for any reason...WATCH OUT FOR THAT HARNESS...DONT PULL OR PINCH UPON REINSTALL.
