That's right. You probably just didn't notice that before it said "warmup complete" it said "active handling warming up" or something like that. I've gotten it several times. Especially when I started up and then drove on a dirt road immediately.

I get it all the time on my dirt road....Another reason to move.....wanna buy a house? just 419,999. pool, wet bar 3000+sq feet ;)
This message is rather misleading as it doesn't really have anything to do with warming up. After startup the computer needs to calibrate to the steering wheel position sensor. The first time the car reaches 6 MPH this calibration is done. If the steering wheel is not straight when you first reach 6 MPH the system will do an alternate calibration once the car has been driven straight for a certain period of time. If the active handling is activated before this calibration is done you will get the message about "Active Handling Warming Up". After the calibration has completed you will get the "Warm Up Complete" message. If you do not do anything that activates the active handling before the calibration is complete you will not see either message.
The first thing I do when it get into the car is put it into competition mode. The only reason I noticed this message was because it made a chime and stayed on the screen till I hit reset. I thought maybe it was being nice and saying it was all warmed up and ready to drive :)
Seen it! And I said "like I care!" Just warm up already! LOL
Nice explaination All Vette, I've only seen it once but I don't get to drive that car very often!
Thanks,
