I need help with Wheel knowledge..
Well after calling their tech support to make sure if the selection of wheels the computer provided me actually will fit I was told that 99% of the wheels will mount outside the wheel well to some extent due to there offset.
I'm curious as to finding out a formula or calculator as to how much offset provides this much overhang outside the wheel well.
I know many guys go with Ruff Racing wheels and have overhang also, but I don't feel it's a bad thing unless it's a ridiculous amount.
I was looking at using 275/40 18 unstaggered around the car on 18x9 Torque Imagines. Naturally I won't purchase them till I know my vette won't have a Tonka truck appearance.
I appreciate every one's input on this
For wheel offset use this

For tire size use this

Have some peole chime in on the idea to run the same size tires all around. I think a few have done it but some have reported traction control and/or active handing issues when not running enough stagger front to rear, about an inch I believe as a general rule.
