ITS PERFECTLY acceptable to jump start any car that has a dead or severly discharged battery. There are proper procedures for this process. I will NOT put them in this post cause its a lot of typing.
Just GOOGLE "Procedure for jump starting a car" or "battery jump start" and follow it.
The part that you need to figure out is "Why did your battery die" ??
- Bad battery?
- Bad Alternator"
- Bad wiring?
- Bad Connections?
I just answered this post and provided a lot of links. Check it out:
I never have but would you just go buy another one or what?
As a matter of fact I have replaced 3 cars because the one's I had had gotten dead batteries....
I just left them where they were and went and bought new cars
I didn't even take the plates off of them.
I didn't even try to get them off to the side of the road......
The last house I owned had a minor plumbing leak and I abandonded it with everything in it and bought another one.
