Default Bellhousing dowels

Has anyone ever had to install these before? I have a new LS3 block, and I have a new set of dowels for the bellhousing. They seem to be slightly to large for the block, but the perfect size for the bellhousing. Any ideas?

Try putting the dowels in the freezer over night. They should go right in!

As the last poster stated, throw them into the freezer over-night and then install them.

There should be some resistance in installing them as they are meant to help hold the bell housing in place. (i.e. They are press fitted).

Just make sure you don't knock them into far.
