Default **2000 C5 Corvette 63rwhp gain with LG Street Series and G5XE cam**

Hi guys,

Wanting to pickup power all across the board with a few simple modifications and give your car that great muscle car sound at a stoplight? Well it can be done with just a few simple bolt on modifications.

Keep in mind this car is still using a stock LS1 intake, and it nor the throttle body has been ported.

BEFORE
  • 2000 Corvette M6
  • Black Wing filter
  • Corsa Pace Car exhaust

AFTER
  • LG Street Series with high flow cats
  • LG G5XE 'Executive' cam kit
  • RPS Clutch
  • LGM Professional install and complete Dyno Tune

Just shy of a gain of 63 rwhp and 30 rwtq peak with just cam and headers. If you will notice it gained almost 40 rwtq by 3k RPM and carried a 60 rwtq gain from 5k to 6.5k RPM across the board!

Great power, without breaking the bank!

Good job Anthony !

I love my G5X1-E Cam ! Its so drivable, and great in traffic. It still gives a nice cam chop sound when I need it at a stop light . I can cruise down my street in 3rd gear at 1000rpm, and its smooth as a baby's *** ! No bucking or surging.

Add some AFR heads and I got my LS6 tuned to 448rwhp/432rwtq at the wheels. The low end torque is just wicked with this cam ! I also like the fact that its a blower cam..... just cause i never know what I want to do next...

What the executive cam moniker all about? How does the cam behave down low? Any idle clips you can share?

See my web site for a few videos of my G5X1-E.
Illmac77 has the same set up as I have. You can PM him also for info.

Nice!

No tune involved? That's a great jump in power for the money.

Anthony i've been running your solid couplers for almost 2 years now....awesome product dude.

I should note, the car was tuned. Anytime there is that much being changed you have to change it.
