I'm throwing codes for cam sensor-low voltage. I've searched but cannot find an exact location. I've searched and read somewhere at back of intake? I pulled the A.I.R tube out yesterday and wondering if I damaged it. it's a 2004 LS6. Cam bolts have been loc-tite'd

Yep, it's under the back of the intake next to the oill pressure sensor. You might have damaged it, or the wire bundle.
Guys, thanks for the help. I unplugged the connector and found a broken wire. Gonna fix it tomorrow and get it going. Could'nt have figured it out without you. All these because I just HAD to remove the air pump.
I'm throwing the same code after my mechanic replaced mine. Could it just be a faulty sensor? My car sometimes won't turn on, and I'm guessing a bad wire. Also while he has the intake manifold off...again, does anyone have a picture of where the oil pressure sensor is in comparison to the cam position sensor? Thanks!

Post #4. Little brass jobbie just to the right of the cam sensor.
Whats the differents between the low and high voltage cam position sensor code? About how long do you think it would take to get the intake off to get to the sensor?
Im having an issue where my cars cranking and not firing. well if i have the intake off might as well put an ls6 on it
This issue should be a crank shaft postion sensor, rather than a cam shaft postion sensor. Its a very common issue, as I sell them to people at work with this problem all the time, and it usually fixes the problem. That is if you are still getting plenty of fuel pressure, air, and spark. I'm not positive of the location on the LS1.
Hope this helps -David
