Is there a bracket that holds the passenger fender around the door area? I dont feel like taking apart the drivers side to check. Sorry if it is a dumb question.
There are three screws on the front fender around the door: one up on the cowl along the top of the fender (actually there are several along the top in the cowl), one on the under side of the fender where the rocker is, and one in the middle that is just a tab that is accessed by taking off the access panel behind the wheel.
Might help if you said what you are doing. The fender is really not that hard to take off, the bolts and nuts at the front where it meets the nose are the most difficult.
feburary 06 I had to decide whether to take on a POS van head on that was in my lane or wipe out the road sign. Wisley I chose the road sign.
I replaced the fender but over time it has slipped out of alignment. So I have next week off and I want to remove the fender and reset it and I wanted to see what (if any) the bracket looked (or a diagram of how the bolts go together) like if possible as it was gone of course after meeting the road sign.
You said "you" replaced the fender. Do you mean that you HAD the fender replaced? Evidently you your self didn't physically replace the fender. Do as previous post mentioned. In less than an hour from start to finish you will be done, it's that easy! If the fender is pulled out at the bottom, where the rocker meets the fender, you don't need to take anything apart, just reallign, and tighten screw.
