I've noticed that the display in my AC head unit is not as bright as I seem to remember it to be. No where near the other displays in brightness. Obviously not a big deal, but just I cannot see it at all when I have the lights on, and barely when the lights are off.
Anyone else have this issue?

Yes it's common. We fix those for $56 plus shipping.
There is a soldering fix on here somewhere, but if you do not have soldering experience you might fry the controller (we've had a few guys come to us after frying them).

There are some resistors on its circuit card that require resoldering. Many pictures here in the forum on which resistors if you are handy with a light-duty soldering iron.
