Best Cam for my SETUP !!!!
Hi there,
I'm looking for a good POWERFUL cam for my C5 Z06 (its OK if its rough or big one), I'm looking for a POWER and also safe to my stock LS6 engine. Also, I wish I can see 450 rwhp OR MORE.
my modifications in the car now are:
Callaway Honker
FAST 92mm intake manifold
LS2 90mm TB
Kooks long tube headers 1 7/8 with off road 3" X pipe
B&B Bullets cat back
160 Hypertech stat
SLP underdrive pulley
Finally, 3.91 ratio (but I didn't install it yet)
I thinking of:
- Comp LSR cam LR285HR13 235/243 .621/ .624 113
OR
- G5X3 (I know its smaller, but I heared that it gives much more HP)
OR
- G5X4
My quistions are:
1- The LSR range is 2200-7200 RPM (Is it OK if i shift @ 6800 without loosing the maximum HP)?? because I dont want to shift @ 7200 RPM with MY STOCK LS6 Engine.
2- What is the BEST cam for my setup?
3- Are they NOS friendly?
4- Do you recommend any OTHER cams better than LSR, G5X3, and G5X4 ? ( you can Focus in this Q)
Note: I dont want to flycut pistons!

Definitely include it in the list as it has become a popular option for a BIG cam.
