Default Katech Ported TB???

Opinions for a 98? Currently, the only mods I have is a Vararam CAI and a Corsa exhaust. I am thinking of adding a LS6 intake and a Katech TB within the next couple of weeks. Within the next six months I will be adding a mild cam and long tube headers. After the cam and headers I will get a tune. My question is whether it is worth adding the LS6 intake and the TB now? Also, anyone using the Katech TB? If so, your feedback would be appreciated.

I don't think it would hurt to do it prior to the cam and header install. definitely get it installed before the tune which you will probably need after the cam install, but I think you are already aware of that. See what Katech has to say. I'm interested in seeing the performance changes. I am in just the opposite boat of you, in that I have a cam and headers already with a tune, and being a 99, I only have the stock LS1 intake and not the LS6 style intake with the factory TB. This is definitely on my to do list, however I am waiting to do heads as well and at that time I will upgrade the intake and TB since they have to come off anyways and I will probably need a newer tune.
