Default Help an old man out please

OK, again with my father's 02 Vert lights.....

If you remember back, my father had problems with his blinkers and such. The consensus was that he needed the hyper flash thing, and we bought it and installed it.

The blinker stopped blinking twice as fast as normal which lead me to believe the problem was solved, but actually, it's not....

What is happening now is that both rear lights blink (on each side) instead of just one at a time, meaning if you turn the right signal on, both rights blink instead of just the outside one as normal and vice versa with the left, and none of the fronts blink at all. The do come on as running lights when the head lights come on, but they do not blink.

I thought that it might have been the hyper flash bypass thing so I purchased another from a separate manufacturer, and had the exact same results.

I really could use some help, as I really don't want my father having to spend a fortune on electrical diagnostics.

PLEASE!

As to why the front blinkers don't come on I am not certain. Have you replaced the bulbs in the front? I believe the bulbs have two electric filaments. One for the turn signals and one for the parking lights. Are the blinker filaments failed?? Did someone replace the bulbs with the wrong ones???? I've seen that happen many times.
I didn't know that both came on at the same time with respect to the rears.

As far as the fronts go, we had them burn out a couple weeks apart, and were replaced as such. They were working for a few weeks, then nothing, which is when I posted the problem. They both stopped working, and the blinker signal inside the car started blinking twice as fast as normal.

We bought and installed the Hyper-Flash Bypass, and now the rears are good (which never were a problem), the blinkers blink at the proper speed, but the fronts don't blink at all.

I will try new bulbs as the original problem may have burned them out and report back...

Thanks for the help fellas, it is greatly appreciated!

I will do that for sure. Space is a bit tight in there, but I'll check it out.

Thanks again!
