There have been a couple of cases where all the damage was done to the starter. Pray thats what you have!

I reached down there yesterday to give it a wiggle and it seems solid. I'm towing it to work (a dealership) tomorrow and will have a tech fix her for me. :-) I can't get a jack under it, lol.

Well I got it fixed last Wed or Thurs and my starter case was broken. I guess I am lucky I have an iron block!
