Seat Studs

Have the seats about ready to go back in, and was wondering if the spec's call for any lock-tite, and what the torque spec is on a 2000 C5 Sort Seat. Thanks "pear"

The torque is 37 lb ft. The service manual does not call for threadlocker, but I'm sure someone will say they use it

Thanks for the torque spec. Lucky!! Think I'll use a little Lock-tite just for good measure, we get it here at work by the case, so I guess it's cheap insurance. Thanks again "pear"

wow only 37ft lb i know i go tighter then that but have never used lock tite

you don't need lock-tite. Just get the bolts good and tight.
