Default Injector Install Instructions

I've searched the forum without success so thought I'd ask outright. I'm going to be changing my fuel rails so I will need to remove the injectors and reinstall them on the new "Chrome" fuel rail. Is it as simple as I think, in that I just pull them out of the manifold and the old rails, then poke them back in or is there more to it. I'm thinking that the O Rings are what holds them in the rails, correct? Should I lubricate the O rings with motor oil before installing them in both the rail and the manifold, or is there something else I should use?

Motor oil is what the manual recommends using. They just push into the manfold. Can't remember it there's a clip to remove on the fuel rail side or not.

Its as simple as you think, unscrew fuel rail and they just pop out of intake, make take a little force. To get the injector out of the fuel rail, i believe there is a clip u remove then pull out. Not hard to do.

yes, there's clips. and yes, they basically pop out however watch for the o-rings that sometimes stay on the injector, sometimes not. You'll have to dig them out of the fuel rail. Not hard, just watch for them.

I've attached a write up below which is for the oil sender replacement. You'll see (about 3rd or 4th page) the injectors, clips, and connectors.

Hope that helps.
