Borla issues?
Hi guys! New to the forum. I just bought a 2003 C5 and have been searching the forum and youtube about exhausts for weeks. I just sold my 2001 Camaro SS that had the SLP Loudmouth and I loved it. I wanted a little different tone (deeper) on the Vette, but just about as loud. I went ahead and bought the Borla S type because so many posts on here said it is very loud and deep, but not as raspy as the B&B. I have had it on for about 2 weeks now (over 500 miles) and I really don't think it is that much louder than the stock setup, most especially at idle. My SS at idle would wake the neighbors! Is the Vette setup that much different? I didn't mind the SLP on the Camaro at any speed or RPM, but on several forums I hear about the drone over and over. I don't know if I should change to another brand or if X pipes/header will help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
