Thanks for the compliment on my procedure.
I am soon going to write a full procedure on my Stainless break line install with brake fluid flush, and a LG GT2 Coil over install.

I installed stock Fog Light housings then install 6000K HID's in them.
They kill the PIaa lights by a long shot.

From the looks of things, you just mounted the foglights to the frame, no need for the factory plastic housings?
Thanks !
You mean the OEM foglights ?
I mounted the Factory GM fog lights just like the factory did (I think). I got my Factory OEM fog lights off of a parted out C5.
Why would anyone even add the stock fog light housings to a Z06? They're not needed for the fog light install. All that they do is block out the air flow to the engine. Actually, I just received my Z06 screens for my C5 coupe and I was planning to completely remove the plastic fog light housings. Is this a bad idea? Maybe there's something that I'm missing.

I'm with you.... I'm also not sure why anyone would add that to a Z06. I did not when I put in my OEM C5 fog's to my Z06.
I don't think it performs a real function... I could be wrong though...
