Default LS2 intakes

Has anyone dynoed a LS1 car with the GM LS2 intakes? I have a LS1 intake on my 98 6spd car and I was planning on upgrading to a LS6 intake, but is the LS2 intake a better choice? I think the LS2 has a slightly larger throttle body opening.
Thanks, Gene

The LS2 intake will make the same power as the early LS1 intakes untill higher rpm where the 90mm TB gives it an edge.
The LS6 intake makes more torque and HP through the entire rev range vs the LS2 intake even though it has a smaller TB.

A stock LS6 intake outflows a stock LS2 intake.

get a LS6.

Blown 346 is correct. Use the LS6 intake.

I believe the 2000 uses the LS1 intake and the switch to LS6 style was not until 2001.

They changed the intakes over to the LS6 style in 2001 and up. So anything from 2000 to 97 were the LS1 intakes.
